Diagnostic performance of semi-quantitative and quantitative stress CMR perfusion analysis: a meta-analysis
BACKGROUND Stress cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) perfusion imaging is a promising modality for the evaluation of coronary artery disease (CAD) due to high spatial resolution and absence of radiation. Semi-quantitative and quantitative analysis of CMR perfusion are based on signal-intensity curves produced during the first-pass of gadolinium contrast. Multiple semi-quantitative and quan...
متن کاملSemi-quantitative segmental perfusion scoring in myocardial perfusion SPECT: visual vs. automated analysis
Introduction: It is recommended that the physician apply at least a semi-quantitative segmental scoring system in myocardial perfusion SPECT. We aimed to assess the agreement between automated semi-quantitative analysis using QPS (quantitative Perfusion SPECT) software and visual approach for calculation of summed stress score (SSS), summed rest score (SRS) and summed difference score (SDS). ...
متن کاملDiagnostic accuracy of stress perfusion CMR in comparison with quantitative coronary angiography: fully quantitative, semiquantitative, and qualitative assessment.
OBJECTIVES This study's primary objective was to determine the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of fully quantitative stress perfusion cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) versus a reference standard of quantitative coronary angiography. We hypothesized that fully quantitative analysis of stress perfusion CMR would have high diagnostic accuracy for identifying significant coronary artery sten...
متن کاملDiagnostic Accuracy of Adenosine Stress Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Following Acute ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction Post Primary Angioplasty
BACKGROUND Adenosine stress cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) has been proven an effective tool in detection of reversible ischemia. Limited evidence is available regarding its accuracy in the setting of acute coronary syndromes, particularly in evaluating the significance of non-culprit vessel ischaemia. Adenosine stress CMR and recent advances in semi-quantitative image analysis may pro...
متن کاملAssessment of semi-quantitative parameters for visual interpretation of stress-perfusion CMR in obstructive coronary artery disease
Background Adenosine stress CMR with visual interpretation is increasingly used in the evaluation of patients with CAD. The definition of a stress perfusion defect is inconsistent in the literature regarding i) the duration from contrast arrival, ii) persistence relative to a remote segment, iii) transmural extent, and iv) reversibility on rest perfusion. In this study we sought to test several...
